Effects of 35 Hz, 2 mT Magnetic Field on Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes of Human In Vitro and Rat In Vivo
Authors
Abstract:
In this research we have studied the effects of extremely low frequency magnetic field on the peripheral blood lymphocytes chromosomes of human in vitro and rat in vivo. By this means, we used 60 blood samples of 10 men as well as 40 rats. Of 60 human blood samples ,40 samples (in two group of 20) were selected as test groups and placed into the 2 mT and 35 Hz magnetic field. The blood samples, then, with 20 samples of control groups cultured for chromosomal analysis of lymphocytes cells.Of 40 rats, 30 rats, in two group of 15, were also placed into the same magnetic field, and cultured with 10 control rats for chromosomal analysis of lymphocytes cells. The analysis results of 5373 metaphasic cells from human bloods(3573 test cells and 1800 control cells) showed that there was no significant differences among the percentages of chromosomal aberrations of control(0.16%), 30 and 60 minutes test (0.224%,0.296%) groups respectively (p30´>0.28,p60´>0.15). There was no chromosomal aberrations in 3089 metaphasic lymphocytes of rats (2389 test cells and 700 control cells).

In vivo Exposure Effects of 99mTc-methoxyisobutylisonitrile on the FDXR and XPA Genes Expression in Human Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes
Objective(s): In recent years, the application of radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine has increased substantially. Following the diagnostic procedures performed in nuclear medicine departments, such as myocardial perfusion imaging, patients generally receive considerable doses of radiation. Normally, radiation-induced DNA damages are expected following exposure to a low-dose ionizing radia...
full textCombined Effects of 528 Hz Sound and X-ray in Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes
Introduction: Radiotherapy is still one of the main options for cancer treatment but it is in association with damage to normal cells as well as the tumor cells. To reduce the injury in normal cells we have evaluated the effect of 528 hertz sound after X irradiation in peripheral blood lymphocytes. Materials and Methods: in this study, peripheral blood was o...

on translation of politeness strategies in dialogues involving female characters in translations and retranslations of novels translated before and after the islamic revolution of iran and their effects on the image of women: a polysystem theory approach
abstract reception environment has considerable effects on accepting a translation. as the expectations of a target culture and its values and needs change throughout history, its criteria for accepting a translation or rejecting it will change accordingly (gentzler, 2001). the expectations of iran, as the reception environment in the present study, have changed after the islamic revolution. i...
critical period effects in foreign language learning:the influence of maturational state on the acquisition of reading, writing, and grammar in english as a foreign language
since the 1960s the age effects on learning both first and second language have been explored by many linguists and applied linguists (e.g lennerberg, 1967; schachter, 1996; long, 1990) and the existence of critical period for language acquisition was found to be a common ground of all these studies. in spite of some common findings, some issues about the impacts of age on acquiring a second or...
